Why I blog

After my most recent post, "Balance", I received such a positive response from a lot of people, women in general - mothers. Along with those wonderful messages also came some questions. A few have asked why I don't post as much, and some wishing I did because they thought my content was honest and for some, inspiring.

If I could put into words what your support means to me, I would. But there are not enough words, or the right words, to say Thank you for following my motherhood journey with me; as we learn together, from one another.

When I first started blogging, I made a promise to all my readers that I would have an open and honest, important, platform. I wanted to talk about things that not a lot of bloggers talked about. I wanted to talk about the aches in pregnancies, the toughness of delivery, postpartum, the crazy hormonal take over, leaking boobs, recovery, sleepless nights, sex life, sustaining a healthy marriage, loosing your sh*t when the kids have a bad day. Mainly, how to SURVIVE motherhood (because that's all we are really trying to do) and what/who keeps us sane, as mothers, wives, WOMEN. This is why I don't post as much. I take time in writing a genuine blog post and don't want to have purposeless content. And to have genuine content, that takes time.

If I decide to write a blog, I'd like it to have meaning. I'd like it to reach out to someone, anyone, and inspire them a little. If some of my posts make you question me, laugh at me, laugh with me, cry with me, or even be mad AT me..so be it. Let's talk about it. At least I get to make you feel something. And that's extremely important to me.

You might come across a post or two about my travels (post about our Europe trip is in process) or about a product I find super helpful. But the majority of things I write about and will continue to write about is things I find purpose in. And that's an honest, judgment free, inspiring, motherhood circle.

I hope you continue to read and continue to send me all your suggestions. They are all considered.

With love,

a mama + her mini
